This home is designed as the guest home on the property, though a main house may never be built. It is located very near a busy road, so shielding the headlights and sound was very important while maintaining the amazing Teton views and passive solar angle. The house uses thick double-stud walls for thermal insulation as well as sound deadening. Corner glass focuses on the southeast, and a solid deck guard rail helps to shield the road below. The lower level is dedicated to the garage, mud, and utility functions, and the upper level is for living.
