This home is situated on a hillside overlooking Teton valley with views southeast to the Teton Range. Fortunately, the optimum passive solar and ventilation orientation worked well with the views. The local Land Trust, in perpetuity, protects the site. The home is designed to blend into the hillside and uses the topography to maintain a low profile. It features a timber frame made of reclaimed lumber, reclaimed cedar siding, a living roof, a ground-source heat pump, HRV, and utilizes a Tulikivi masonry heating unit and environmentally conscious materials on the interior.
